Job requirements

About Panda Drum

We're Panda Drum (pandadrum.com), the world's largest DTC steel tongue drum brand. 300,000+ customers, ~$50M revenue this year, growing 3x year over year for three years straight. Profitable, bootstrapped, founder-led. A ~40-person remote team across Europe, the US, and Asia, plus 100+ content creators.

We're a performance marketing company that sells a wellness product. Our ads drive everything, and UGC is the engine behind the ads.

The role

You start by keeping our creator operation running as it scales, and you grow into owning a brand-new sales channel: TikTok Shop. You report to our Creator Manager, who owns creator strategy and the roster. This role is for someone who's extremely organized today and wants their income tied to results tomorrow.

What you'll do

First: run the creator pipeline

  • Source new UGC creators (X, Backstage, portfolios, communities), shortlist the strong ones, and run first-touch outreach

  • Onboard creators end to end: contracts, product orders, access. Nothing stalls

  • Keep the content library organized: tag, categorize and label incoming UGC so editors find what they need fast

  • Track deliverables, deadlines and revisions across a 70+ creator network, and chase until content lands

  • Coordinate creator payments and invoices, and flag anything that needs approval

  • Keep the pipeline board accurate, so the team always knows what's where

  • Flag what's working: creators, formats, content

Then: own TikTok Shop

  • Build and grow TikTok Shop as your own channel, measured on GMV

  • Recruit and manage affiliate creators who actually sell, and set up sample seeding and commissions

  • Spot winning hooks, formats and creators fast, then double down on what drives sales

  • Report on channel performance weekly, and as it scales, help build the team around it

What we need

  • Fluent spoken and written English. You'll talk to US-based creators every day, and clear communication is non-negotiable

  • Extremely organized. Dozens of moving pieces, none dropped

  • Follow-through by reflex. A late creator or an open revision doesn't slip, it gets chased

  • A self-starter. You take a task and run with it, you don't wait for each step

  • An eye for content. You can tell strong UGC from weak, and you're curious about what makes content sell

  • You know TikTok inside out. You understand which creators, hooks and trends make people buy, not just watch

  • Genuine interest in TikTok Shop and social commerce: how affiliate creators, product showcases and LIVE shopping turn content into sales

  • Hungry to grow, and motivated by performance-based pay

  • US afternoon overlap. Creators reply on their clock, not ours

  • Comfortable in Notion, Slack and spreadsheets, and quick to learn new tools

Nice to have

  • 1–2 years in a coordination, admin or content-support role

  • Experience coordinating UGC creators, influencers or a content pipeline

  • Hands-on TikTok Shop experience: affiliate creator outreach, sample requests, Seller Center, LIVE shopping or Shop ads

  • Experience growing sales on TikTok or another social commerce channel, with numbers you can share

  • DTC ecommerce, social or performance marketing background

  • Content libraries or DAM tools (we use Air)

This job is not for you if

  • You want a creative role first. This is a pipeline role first.

  • You find checking the same board every single day beneath you. That board is the job first.

  • You need each step explained. Here you get one sentence and full accountability.

Growth

Month one is the trial. You run the pipeline as it is, no changes. When the pipeline runs for 60 days without anyone chasing you, TikTok Shop becomes yours, with a percentage of its revenue as your bonus on top of base. That's the path: coordinator, then channel owner. There's no title in between. The channel is the promotion.
